The objective of this section is to share with one another helpful code commentary that would be too verbose to include directly in code comments. Eventually this will become an exhaustive compendium of the code and a great starter place for new developers. Please feel free to pitch in. We'll separate the code into three major arenas: (a) core code, (b) modules, and (c) templates.
